Accrediting your Training Centre - requirements checklist

 

Becoming an accredited ICDL centre involves completion of various application forms and fulfilment of certain conditions relating to your training facilities and the qualifications of your trainer.

See below a (not exhaustive) checklist of information you’ll need to provide. Ask for the actual application forms for full details.

Paperwork

•         Certificate of Incorporation/Founding Statement

•         Company Registration Number

•         TEVETA registration number (if applicable)

•         VAT number or VAT exemption certificate

•         Professional accreditations of your organisation

•         Auditor’s details

•         Bank account details

 

Technical

•         Photograph of training room – a physical inspection is also made

•         Server specification (hard drive, RAM etc)

•         Client PC specifications

•         Decide if you want to run the ICDL testing software on site or send your students to a local testing centre

 

People

•         Directors names and NRC numbers

•         Trainer’s personal details

•         Trainer’s IT qualifications and ICDL certificate number (if they already have the ICDL)

•         Note: Trainers will need to complete the ICDL and pass the advanced exams within 6 months of accreditation
