Toyota Tsusho Africa has distributors in seven countries in Africa including Kenya, Uganda, Zimbabwe, Malawi, Zambia, Angola and Mauritius, and they support 1,300 staff throughout the region.  To improve productivity at the company Toyota Tsusho chose the International Computer Driving Licence to be the internal standard for the staff.

Almost 400 staff have registered for the programme thus far, and facilitators from each of the seven countries are sent to South Africa for training at Toyota Headquarters which has been accredited as an ICDL Centre.  The feedback is very positive, candidates have become enthusiastic about computer skills and enjoy a lot of benefits applying practical skills to their work.
